PROFESSIONALS WANTED!
JOIN THE CONNELLY’S TATTOOING TEAM
Experienced/Licensed Artists & Piercers Wanted
FOR WALK-IN days and Appointment based work.
Connelly’s Tattooing is a family-owned, diverse, established tattoo shop in Colonial Heights, Virginia, and we’re looking to expand and add few more talented professionals to our team.
We are currently looking for experienced, Virginia licensed tattoo artists and piercers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a professional, respectful, and established shop environment.
We’re not simply looking for people who can tattoo or pierce—we’re looking for good, honest, trustworthy people and true professionals who are willing to work.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The right person for our shop should be:
Currently licensed and legally qualified to work in Virginia
Willing to get insurance
Experienced in their craft with a strong portfolio
Dependable, punctual, and responsible
Professional and respectful toward clients and coworkers
Clean, organized, and serious about sanitation
Comfortable working independently
Able to communicate well with clients
Respectful of other people, diversity, artists, their workspaces, and their clientele
Passionate about continuing to improve their skills
Someone who can contribute positively to the atmosphere of the shop
We value trust, professionalism, talent, work ethic, and personality just as much as technique and artistic ability.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN AN ARTIST/PIERCER
We want to see the work you are actually capable of currently producing—not just your best tattoo from five years ago. Applicants should have an established portfolio showing their current work as well as past. Healed tattoos are highly encouraged, along with examples of different styles and types of work you regularly perform.
We are interested in artists who have developed their own skills and artistic identity while still being able to work with a wide variety of clients for tattoo requests (or piercings).
WHAT WE OFFER
Connelly’s is an established shop with a long history and well known name in the local tattoo community. We provide a professional environment where artists can focus on doing quality work and building their clientele. Depending on the position and individual circumstances,
Opportunities may include:
-An established shop with an existing customer base
-Walk-in and appointment opportunities
-A clean and organized working environment
-Shop marketing and promotional opportunities
-The ability to build and grow your own clientele
-A team environment with helpful and experienced artists
-Flexible scheduling opportunities
A professional atmosphere where artists can concentrate on their craft
We believe that a good tattoo shop should be a place where artists can make a living doing what they love while making the customer happy and maintaining a professional environment for everyone from all walks of life
PROFESSIONALISM MATTERS
Talent will get our attention, but character matters just as much.
We expect everyone working at Connelly’s to treat all clients, coworkers, and the shop itself with respect. We have zero tolerance for unnecessary drama, dishonesty, disrespectful behavior, or people who make the workplace uncomfortable for other artists or clients.
We want artists and piercers who understand that being a professional means more than producing good artwork. It means showing up, communicating, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, taking care of your clients, respecting your coworkers, and representing the shop well.
