Connelly’s Tattooing is a family-owned, diverse, established tattoo shop in Colonial Heights, Virginia, and we’re always interested in meeting talented professionals who could be a great addition to our team.
We are currently looking for experienced, currently licensed tattoo artists and piercers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a professional, respectful, and established shop environment.
We’re not simply looking for people who can tattoo or pierce—we’re looking for good people and true professionals.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The right person for our shop should be:
Currently licensed and legally qualified to work in Virginia
Experienced in their craft with a strong portfolio
Dependable, punctual, and responsible
Professional and respectful toward clients and coworkers
Clean, organized, and serious about sanitation
Comfortable working independently
Able to communicate well with clients
Respectful of other people, artists, their workspaces, and their clientele
Passionate about continuing to improve their skills
Someone who can contribute positively to the atmosphere of the shop
We value trust, professionalism, talent, work ethic, and personality just as much as artistic ability.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN AN ARTIST
We want to see the work you are actually capable of producing—not just your best tattoo from five years ago. Applicants should have an established portfolio showing their current work. Healed tattoos are highly encouraged, along with examples of different styles and types of work you regularly perform.
We are interested in artists who have developed their own skills and artistic identity while still being able to work with a wide variety of clients and tattoo requests.
