A little bit about us...

OUR HISTORY

Connelly's Tattooing has roots dating back to the 1920s, founded by our Grandfather R.L. "Old-Man" Connelly, who was one of the original "old timer" East Coast tattoo artists and a former business partner and friend of the renowned traditional tattoo artist Paul Rogers. He devoted 60 years to the craft until his passing. Throughout his journey, he mentored his son Johnny Connelly, who continued the family legacy for 40 years and taught his children, J.W., Samantha, and Tabitha. They have now been tattooing for over 27 years and have even passed their skills on to their children and nieces. Still a family-owned tattoo shop to this day and now in our 4th generation, we are committed to honoring our past while embracing the future.

As a traditional style street shop deeply rooted in the history of American tattooing, we offer a range of options, from quick and simple walk-in custom tattoo designs for budget-minded clients to large-scale, high-end custom appointment-based work for those seeking something unique.

Our skilled artists bring years of experience across various styles. We are licensed by the state and proud members of The Alliance of Professional Tattooists (APT). With both male and female artists available, we ensure a comfortable experience in our clean, safe, and family-friendly environment. We value our customers and work hard to provide a pleasant and patient tattoo experience, whether you're a nervous first-timer or a loyal returning customer—you will find that we strive to bring your ideas to life.
